Well, the pressure's down, the boss ain't here, Bob Dylan, "Sweetheart like You", off the album "Infidels" | |
I fell a little wierd writing about Bob Dylan, I doubt you don't know him if you're reading this. Dylan's songs seem to me like modern age folk songs, they will be sung and heard for ages and ages, always being special, beautiful, and amazingly current.
My favourite Dylan album (which is also very hard to choose) is probably Infidels, where the above song is taken from. The album contains the songs Sweethart Like You, and Jokerman - two of my favourite Dylan songs. Another favourite of mine is the ever famous Like a Rolling Stone.
Here is a short list of Dylan songs that I love - if you haven't, try them - Jokerman, All Along the Watchtower, Knocking on Heavens Door, Tambourine Man, Sarah, I want you, and all of the songs mentioned above. Writing this I feel like trying to describe a whale with two words - which two do you choose? But at least it is a start...
